About
Giordano Maselli is a film scorer and musician from Rome, graduating from Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome (2018, Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in Classical Composition and Master’s Degree with honors in Movie Soundtrack Composition).
Since 2015, he has been active in the Italian film music industry (“Hybris”, “Nessuno Può Volare” and “TuttAPPosto”). Alongside film scoring, Giordano recently wrote and produced his very first music album as a solo artist, called “Start From Scratch” (self-produced and published in October 2020).
“Start From Scratch” was the opportunity to explore and experiment beyond the borders and bounderies of conventional orchestral/instrumental music – with new sounds and harmony concepts, and unconventional instruments that shape a unique and refreshing personality for each and every song, guiding the listener through a musical journey with many exciting stops and destinations.

Giordano is currently finalizing his 4th album (2nd solo album) which is a sequel to the musical adventures he embarked on with his previous album. His second solo album will be launched in August 2022.

Giordano Maselli est un compositeur italien de musique de film, présent dans la cinématographie italienne avec ses bandes originales pour des films comme “Hybris”, “Nessuno Può Volare” et “TuttAPPosto”. En parallèle avec son activité de composition de film, il a également lancé son premier album en tant qu’artiste solo : “Start From Scratch” (publié en octobre 2020).
“Start From Scratch” est un projet de création musicale expérimentale qui va au delà des conventions et des cadres de la musique orchestrale/ instrumentale conventionnelle, grâce à ses harmonies et aux instruments inédits qui apportent un regard frais et une personnalité unique à chaque titre. Avant tout, “Start From Scratch” sera un voyage musical pour ses auditeurs, qui découvriront une nouvelle destination avec chaque morceau.
